Stake Welcome Bonus

This is an independent guide to Stake.com, not the operator’s site. We earn a commission when you register through our links. Every figure below comes from Stake’s published terms and help pages, and every offer is subject to its own terms.

The Stake welcome bonus is a code-based offer. Stake describes it as a bonus that new players redeem with the offer code its affiliates provide, and you enter that code in your account within 24 hours of signing up. Stake publishes no amount, no wagering figure and no cap for the offer. What a Canadian player gets is the offer shown in the account on the day, which is why searches such as “Stake sign up bonus”, “Stake welcome offer” and “Stake first deposit bonus” have no single answer.

If the offer includes a deposit bonus, a rollover applies. The deposit plus the bonus must be turned over on a 4% house-edge basis. Sportsbook bets are calculated at a 3% house edge and contribute $0.75 for every $1 wagered, and the currency you picked stays locked until the rollover is done. The bonus is not cash until that happens.

Know the limits of the welcome offer before you register. Stake publishes no no-deposit welcome bonus, no free-spin package and no promised multiple of your first deposit. A figure on a third-party site, whether it is a percentage or a dollar cap, is not a number Stake publishes. Stake Rakeback

Rakeback is the reward that does not depend on a promotion. Stake returns 3.5% of the house edge as cash on every casino game, slots, table games and live dealer alike, and it does so whether you win or lose. In poker the same 3.5% applies to the rake. For the sportsbook, it applies to the theoretical value of a bet, using a default 3% house edge. Voided and cashed-out bets are not eligible.

Rakeback unlocks at Bronze VIP, which needs 10,000 wagered, or from sign-up when you join through an affiliate partner. You claim it any time from the Rakeback tab on the VIP page. Stake’s own example: 1 BTC wagered at a 2% house edge returns 0.0007 BTC. The same arithmetic in dollars is easy to check: C$1,000 wagered at a 2% edge carries an expected house take of C$20, and 3.5% of that is C$0.70.

Sports bets use the same logic with a fixed assumption. Stake values a sportsbook bet at a default 3% house edge, so a $1,000 bet has a theoretical value of $30, and 3.5% rakeback on that is $1.05. A bet that is voided or cashed out earns nothing.

That is the real scale. Rakeback softens losses a little over a long run of play. It does not turn the house edge into an advantage, and it should never be the reason to play more.

Stake Weekly and Monthly Bonuses

Both bonuses belong to the VIP program, and both are sized by your level and your recent play. The details, including each level’s wager threshold, are on the Stake VIP Program page.

The weekly bonus goes to VIP players at Bronze or above who played within the last week. Stake releases it every Saturday at 12:30 GMT, which is morning in Eastern Canada, in the VIP-only Telegram group. The amount comes from your previous 7 days of play and your VIP level.

The monthly bonus goes to all eligible VIP players once a month, on a random date around mid-month, by email. If you miss the email, you can claim the bonus from the VIP tab 24 hours after release. Your VIP level sets a base amount, and your wagering over the previous month increases it.

A separate promotion, the monthly subscription bonus, works differently. Each month eligible players get an email with a simple requirement, such as a minimum bet on a featured market. Players who have never deposited are not eligible, and marketing emails must be switched on to receive it.

Stake Bonuses by VIP Level

Your VIP level decides which rewards you see. Bronze and Silver unlock the monthly bonus, level-up bonuses, rakeback and the weekly bonus. Gold adds bonus growth. Platinum I to III bring daily bonuses in the form of reloads. From Platinum IV you get a dedicated VIP host, a bonus from that host and renewable reloads, and Diamond I to V add bespoke benefits arranged with the host. The wager thresholds behind each step run from 10,000 at Bronze to 1,000,000,000 at Obsidian, counted in USD terms, and the Stake VIP Program page lists all 15 levels.

Stake Reload and Level-Up Bonuses

Reloads start at Platinum VIP. A reload is a fixed amount of bonus funds that you claim at set intervals from the rewards tab of the VIP page. It is usually available every 24 hours inside a window, and a reload you miss is gone. Platinum I gets daily reloads for 14 days, Platinum II for 28 days and Platinum III for 42 days. At Platinum IV, reloads are permanent for as long as you stay active, and the VIP host can arrange weekly renewal and shorter intervals.

Stake calculates a reload from your VIP level, your wagering over the past 7, 14, 28 or 42 days, depending on rank, and your profit over the same period. A net loss makes the reload slightly bigger.

The level-up bonus is a one-off reward each time you reach a new VIP tier, granted by support or your VIP host. Stake also offers a birthday bonus, but it publishes no amount and no conditions, so expect nothing specific until you see the offer in your account.

Stake Daily Races and Weekly Raffle

Two prize-pool promotions run alongside the VIP rewards. Daily Races carry a $100,000 prize pool every 24 hours, and the top 5,000 racers win a share. The Weekly Raffle is worth $75,000, and you receive one ticket for every $1,000 wagered on casino and sportsbook. Both are open to anyone who plays, so you do not need to be a VIP player to take part.

Stake also runs themed promotions that change over time. Stake vs Eddie offers a share of $50,000 for hitting or beating a target multiplier. Conquer the Casino offers a share of $75,000 for a Big Win or a Lucky Win. 2x VIP Progress speeds up VIP progress on Only on Stake games. These are examples of the current schedule. Stake Bonus Drops

Bonus drops are first-come codes. Each drop has a unique, case-sensitive code, and Stake posts them on its main Telegram channel, the Daily Drops channel, the High Rollers channel, on X and during Eddie’s stream. You redeem a code from the Offers section of your account. Because a drop can disappear within minutes, the codes cannot be listed on a page like this one. Stake Sportsbook Offers

Sports bettors get their own boosts. NHL Boosted Odds raise pre-match odds on select NHL games for the 2026-27 season. They apply to single pre-match bets only, boosted selections are not available in multis, and a boost cannot be combined with other offers. Stake Shield adds protection to multis. Soccer Boosted Odds run into 2027. Sportsbook wagers also count three times faster toward your VIP level, and they earn rakeback on the theoretical value of the bet. Stake Bonus Terms

Every Stake bonus carries terms, and the terms matter more than the headline.

• Rollover: a deposit bonus has to be turned over, deposit plus bonus, on a 4% house-edge basis.
• Sportsbook contribution: sportsbook bets are calculated at a 3% house edge and contribute $0.75 for every $1 wagered.
• Currency lock: while a rollover is active, the chosen currency is locked.
• Fiat wagering: 100% of a CAD deposit must be wagered before a CAD withdrawal can be requested. The Stake deposits and withdrawals page covers the payout side.
• Not cash yet: a bonus is not withdrawable until its rollover is met.

Stake Bonus Pros and Cons

Stake’s rewards favour regular, higher-volume players more than newcomers, and the lack of a published welcome figure makes the first offer hard to compare. If you plan to play often, rakeback and the VIP schedule add real value. If you play occasionally, the welcome offer is the part to read closely.
