Stake VIP levels for Canadian players

Stake VIP Program

The Stake VIP Program has 15 levels, from Bronze at 10,000 wagered to Obsidian at 1,000,000,000, and you climb by wagering on casino games and the sportsbook. Each tier unlocks more of what the program offers: 3.5% rakeback, a weekly boost, a monthly bonus, level-up rewards, reloads from Platinum and a dedicated VIP host from Platinum IV. The wagered amount counts in USD terms, and sportsbook wagers count three times faster than casino wagers.

Stake VIP Levels

This guide is independent of Stake.com, and we earn a commission when you register through our links. The ladder above is Stake’s published level table, and where Stake publishes no bonus amount, this page says so.

Rewards grow with each level of the ladder

The Stake VIP Program has 15 levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum I to VI, Diamond I to V and Obsidian. You climb by wagering. Casino wagers count at face value in USD terms, and sportsbook wagers count three times faster, so a hockey or soccer bettor can reach a new level sooner than a casino-only player with the same stake. Stake’s VIP club page lists the early thresholds as $10k, $50k and $100k, which match Bronze, Silver and Gold in the ladder.

The thresholds grow quickly. Platinum I needs 250,000 wagered, Diamond I needs 25,000,000 and Obsidian needs 1,000,000,000. Wagering volume is also a cost, because the house edge takes a share of everything you wager. A level is a by-product of how you already play, not a target. A level also says nothing about fairness or odds: a Diamond account faces the same house edge on a game as a new one.

Stake treats the program as the centre of its rewards. It says it has paid out around $14 billion in bonuses and rewards since it reinvented VIP in 2019, and that almost 1 million players are in the program. Those are Stake’s own figures, not independent ones.

Stake VIP Rewards by Level

What you receive depends on where you sit on the ladder. Bronze and Silver unlock the monthly bonus, level-up bonuses, rakeback and the weekly bonus. Gold adds bonus growth. Platinum I to III bring daily bonuses through reloads. Platinum IV to VI come with a dedicated VIP host, a bonus from the host and renewable reloads. Diamond I to V keep the host and add bespoke, customised benefits.

Rakeback sits underneath all of it. Stake returns 3.5% of the house edge on casino games, win or lose, and applies the same rate to poker rake and to the theoretical value of sportsbook bets. It unlocks at Bronze, or from sign-up if you join through an affiliate partner. The Stake bonus page covers rakeback, the welcome offer and the other promotions in full.

Stake Weekly Bonus

The Stake weekly bonus goes to VIP players at Bronze or above who have played within the last week. Stake releases it every Saturday at 12:30 GMT, which is morning in Eastern Canada, in the VIP-only Telegram group. The amount is based on your previous 7 days of play and your VIP level.

Two consequences follow. A week without play means no eligibility, and a busy week produces a larger bonus than a quiet one. Stake publishes no formula, so no one outside the company can predict the exact amount, and anyone who claims otherwise is estimating. Once you reach Bronze, check the Saturday release and read the terms that come with the bonus.

Stake Monthly Bonus

The Stake monthly bonus goes to all eligible VIP players once a month. Stake sends it by email on a random date around mid-month, which is why there is no public countdown and no fixed Stake monthly bonus date. If you miss the email, you can claim the bonus from the VIP tab 24 hours after it was released. Your VIP level sets a base amount, and your wagering over the previous month increases it.

The monthly subscription bonus is a different promotion with a similar name. Each month, eligible players receive an email with a simple requirement, such as a minimum bet on a featured market. Players who have never deposited are not eligible, and marketing emails must be switched on for the email to arrive. If you want both rewards, keep your email address current in the account and check the spam folder when the mid-month window comes around.

Stake Reload

A reload is a fixed amount of bonus funds that you claim at intervals. It is available to Platinum VIP tiers and above. You claim it from the rewards tab of the VIP page, typically every 24 hours inside a set window, and a reload you miss is lost.

The duration depends on the tier. Platinum I gets daily claims for 14 days, Platinum II for 28 days and Platinum III for 42 days. At Platinum IV, reloads become permanent for as long as you stay active, and the VIP host can arrange a weekly renewal and shorter intervals, including hourly or every 10 minutes.

Stake calculates a reload from your VIP level and your wagering over the past 7, 14, 28 or 42 days, depending on rank. It also looks at your profit or loss over that period, and a net loss makes the reload slightly bigger. That design returns something to players who lose, which is the point of a reload, but it is no reason to chase losses. A reload is bonus funds, and bonus funds carry terms.

Stake Level-Up and Birthday Bonuses

When you reach a new VIP tier, Stake gives a one-off level-up reward, granted by support or your VIP host. Stake also offers bonuses on your birthday. It publishes no amount for either reward and no conditions for the birthday bonus, so the offer in your account is the only reliable source. Neither bonus should change the way you play.

Stake VIP Hosts

A dedicated VIP host comes with Platinum IV. The host arranges the details of your reloads, including renewal and interval choices, and adds a bonus of its own. Diamond tiers add bespoke benefits, which means the package is agreed with the host rather than fixed in a table. Below Platinum IV you deal with regular support through live chat, which runs 24/7.

How to Level Up at Stake

Wagering volume is the only route. Casino wagers count at face value in USD terms, sportsbook wagers count three times faster, and Stake sometimes runs a 2x VIP Progress promotion on Only on Stake games, which speeds up progress on those titles. That promotion is an example of the current schedule.

Check the VIP page for your progress rather than counting by hand. Set a budget before you play, because the fastest way up the ladder is also the fastest way to lose money. The Stake sportsbook and Stake casino games pages show where wagers come from.

Stake VIP Calculator

A Stake VIP calculator usually means one of two things. The first is a level lookup: you take your total wagered in USD terms and read off your level, the next level and the gap. The ladder at the top of this page gives you that lookup without a form. Find the highest threshold you have passed, and the next row is your target. With 180,000 wagered, for example, you are at Gold, which starts at 100,000, and you need 250,000 for Platinum I, a gap of 70,000.

The second is a bonus-amount estimate, such as a Stake monthly bonus calculator, a Stake weekly bonus calculator or a Stake wager calculator. Stake does not publish those formulas. The amounts depend on your level, your recent wagering and, for reloads, your profit or loss, so any calculator that shows an exact bonus is guessing. The real amount appears in your VIP tab.

Stake VIP and Responsible Play

A reward program that scales with wagering deserves a plain warning. Higher levels, hosts and reloads all reward volume, and none of them lowers the house edge. Limits work at every level: you can set loss, wager and deposit limits, and a limit you set or lower takes effect at once, while raising or removing one waits 24 hours. If a VIP host or a bonus makes you want to play more than you planned, use a break in play of 1 day, 1 week or 1 month, or talk to live chat about self-exclusion. The responsible gambling page lists the tools and the help lines.

Is the Stake VIP Program Worth It?

For regular, higher-volume players, the program adds real value through rakeback, the weekly and monthly bonuses, and the reloads and host that arrive from Platinum. For occasional players the picture is smaller: rakeback still applies, but the weekly and monthly bonuses are sized by recent wagering, and the top levels are out of reach. The bonus amounts are unpublished, the program rewards volume, and volume costs money through the house edge. Join it for the rewards you would use anyway, and keep your limits in place.

Stake VIP Program FAQ

When is the Stake monthly bonus released?

Once a month, on a random date around mid-month, by email. If you miss the email, you can claim the bonus from the VIP tab 24 hours after it was released. There is no fixed date, so there is no public countdown.

Is there a Stake monthly bonus calculator?

Stake does not publish the formula. Your VIP level sets a base amount and your wagering over the previous month increases it, but the real figure appears only in your VIP tab. The ladder on this page shows your level and the gap to the next one.

How many VIP levels does Stake have?

Fifteen: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum I to VI, Diamond I to V and Obsidian. Each level has a wagered-amount threshold, and the thresholds run from 10,000 at Bronze to 1,000,000,000 at Obsidian in USD terms.

How much do I need to wager to reach Stake VIP Bronze?

10,000 in USD terms. Casino wagers count at face value and sportsbook wagers count three times faster, so a sportsbook wager moves you toward Bronze quicker than the same casino wager.

When is the Stake weekly bonus released?

Every Saturday at 12:30 GMT, in the VIP-only Telegram group. It goes to players at Bronze or above who played within the last week, and the amount is based on your previous 7 days of play and your VIP level.

Does sports betting count towards Stake VIP?

Yes. Sportsbook wagers count three times faster than casino wagers toward your VIP level. Voided and cashed-out sportsbook bets do not earn rakeback, so check the rules before you rely on them.

Who gets a dedicated VIP host?

Players from Platinum IV upward. The host can arrange renewable reloads and gives a bonus of its own, and Diamond levels add bespoke benefits. Players below Platinum IV deal with regular support.

Does Stake have a birthday bonus?

Yes, Stake offers bonuses on your birthday. It publishes no amount and no conditions, so the offer you see in your account is the one that applies.

Every VIP level starts with an account. Register through the button, set your limits first and let the ladder follow your normal play.
