Stake Deposit Methods
This is an independent guide to Stake.com, not the operator’s site, and we earn a commission when you register through our links. This page covers putting money in, getting it out and the rules in between, so you know the process before you deposit.
Stake.com runs a wallet with a local-currency toggle. Switch it on for CAD, and the Interac deposit and withdrawal run through it. Your balance can be viewed in more than 25 fiat currencies, CAD included, but that view is indicative: transactions settle in crypto.
In practice you have two ways to fund your account. An Interac bank transfer moves CAD straight from your bank. Crypto suits you if you already hold coins or want to buy them inside the wallet. Both routes sit under the Wallet and Deposit buttons of your account, and both are on the table above.
Stake Interac Deposit
Depositing CAD with Interac takes six steps:
- Sign in to Stake.com and open your Wallet.
- Choose Deposit, then Local currency.
- Pick an amount and select Deposit.
- Stake sends you to a third-party page. Choose your bank there.
- Log in to your online banking.
- Approve the payment.
The status can take up to 24 hours to show as successful or failed. If a failed deposit left your account, the money should reappear within 3 business days.
Stake describes this route as “Interac”, and the page you approve on is run by a third party, not by Stake. That is normal for bank-transfer deposits, and it is the reason your bank, not Stake, asks for the approval.
You log in to your own online banking to approve the payment, so you do not type your banking password into Stake.com.
Stake Crypto Deposit
Stake accepts 21 coins: BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, BCH, TRX, EOS, USDT, BNB, CRO, USDC, APE, DAI, LINK, SAND, SHIB, UNI, POL (formerly MATIC), SOL, XRP and TRUMP. Crypto deposits have no maximum. Deposits under $0.01 are not processed automatically, so contact live chat if you sent one.
If you do not hold crypto yet, the wallet lets you buy it through partners: Swap Connect, Mesh, MoonPay and Swapped. The payment options each partner offers are theirs. Swap Crypto exchanges one coin for another inside the wallet, and Stake Vault stores funds. Tether (USDT) is among the 21 coins.
Stake Withdrawal Methods and Time
You withdraw CAD to the same banking method you deposited with, through Interac. Open the Wallet, choose Withdraw, enter the amount, select Interac and complete the payment on the third-party page. Interac withdrawals take up to 3 business days. CAD withdrawals need KYC Level 2.
Crypto withdrawals have no maximum. The minimum depends on the coin and shows on the withdrawal screen, along with the network fee for that coin. Stake publishes no processing time for crypto withdrawals, so this page quotes none.
Stake can ask for email and phone verification and for identity documents before a first deposit or withdrawal. For KYC Level 2, the accepted documents are an international passport, a national ID card (both sides) or a driving licence (both sides). Stake can ask for documents at any time, so verify before you plan a withdrawal rather than after.
Stake Wagering Rule Before You Withdraw
Stake’s Terms (sections 8.5 and 8.10) require you to wager 100% of a deposit before you withdraw. For a local-currency deposit, the wallet shows a “Please wager before withdrawing” message until you have done it. For example, if you deposit C$200, you wager C$200 on casino or sportsbook play before you request a CAD withdrawal.
A deposit bonus adds a separate rollover. Your deposit plus the bonus must be turned over on a 4% house-edge basis, sportsbook bets count at a 3% house edge and contribute $0.75 for every $1 wagered, and the currency you chose stays locked while the rollover is active. The Stake bonus page explains the bonus side.
Stake Minimum Deposit and Limits
Stake publishes no CAD minimum or maximum for Interac deposits and withdrawals. The withdrawal screen shows the minimum for your method, so check it there. Crypto deposits have no maximum, and crypto withdrawals have no maximum either, with a per-coin minimum.
Stake can charge a withdrawal fee at its discretion under Terms 8.9. Crypto withdrawals show the network fee per coin. Fee levels move with the market, so read the figure on the screen instead of relying on a number printed in advance.
Deposit limits are also a responsible gambling tool. Stake offers a daily deposit limit, set in USD for fiat, and any crypto above the limit is held in a withholding balance. See the responsible gambling page.
Stake Pending or Missing Deposits
An Interac deposit can take up to 24 hours to show as successful or failed. Wait for the status before you try again, because a second attempt can leave you with two deposits in flight.

If the money left your bank and the deposit failed, it should reappear in your account within 3 business days. If it does not, open live chat, which is available 24/7, and give the transaction details: the amount, the time and your bank’s reference. For a crypto deposit, send the coin, the amount and the transaction hash.
Before you contact support, check that you used the right network for your coin and that the amount is above $0.01. If you have not yet logged in successfully, start with the Stake login page. Where Stake.com is offered is covered in is Stake legal in Canada.
For the wider picture on the operator, read the Stake Casino review. If you pay from a phone, the Stake app page shows how to add Stake to your home screen.
Gambling is for adults (18+, or the age of majority in your province). Money you deposit is the price of entertainment, not an income plan, so set limits before you pay in. The responsible gambling guide covers the tools and help lines.
